1. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY

ll content provided by Bright Star Swim Academy, including website content, the Adaptive Swim Readiness Program, its associated downloadable booklets, PDF guides, videos, and workbooks, is designed to offer general educational information about water safety, swim readiness, and aquatic confidence for children.

Our materials are not intended to serve as professional swim instruction, individualized coaching, therapeutic services, emergency guidance, or a substitute for formal, in-person certified swim lessons from a licensed instructor. 2. SWIM SAFETY AND INHERENT RISKS

Water activities involve significant inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death by drowning. These risks exist regardless of a child’s level of experience, comfort with water, or participation in any of our programs.

The following safety requirements apply at all times:

  • Children must be under direct and constant adult supervision whenever they are in or near water, regardless of their skill level or participation in any Bright Star Swim Academy program.
  • Our online courses, digital materials, and videos are designed as parent-guided educational tools and are not a substitute for in-person, professional swim instruction by a certified instructor.
  • Completion of our programs does not certify a child as a competent swimmer or imply water safety at any level.
  • No aquatic activity or exercise suggested or demonstrated in our materials should be attempted without appropriate adult supervision and precautions.

Please consult with your child’s physician before beginning any new physical activity or water-based routine, particularly if your child has any medical conditions, physical limitations, or special needs.
