Learning to swim is a journey, rather than a set number of lessons. Every child learns at their own pace, and that’s part of the beauty. Progress can look different for every learner and is shaped by each child’s uniqueness — along with water comfort, swim‑readiness, practice outside of lessons, and prior reliance on flotation devices.

Consistency makes a big difference. Regular lessons help kids build confidence, retain skills, and keep their momentum going. And don’t worry — we’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way so you always know how your child is growing stronger in the water.

For safety reasons, lessons are cancelled or ended early in the event of:

  • Lightning or Thunder
  • Heavy rain
  • Unsafe pool conditions

If we cancel due to inclement weather, we’ll reschedule your lesson as soon as possible.

If a lesson is cut short by bad weather, we will roll over the unused time to subsequent lesson(s).

Your home pool must be clean, properly maintained, and at a comfortable swimming temperature to ensure a safe and productive lesson. For the safety of both the learner and the instructor, lessons cannot take place if the pool is unsafe or not in working condition. In these cases, the lesson will be cancelled and forfeited.

We require at least 5 hours’ advance notice for all non-weather-related cancellations. This helps us provide the best service to all students and manage our instructors’ time.

How to Cancel:

Please text or leave a voicemail at 352-640-7946.

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 5 hours’ notice will result in the forfeiture of the lesson fee.
  • Weather: Weather-related cancellations are always rescheduled and are not subject to this 5-hour rule.
